The Third Sector, voluntary & charitable organisations, is valued at £48 billion in the UK.

TM&C recently contributed to a survey, led by Durham University, into how Third Sector organisations, with a wide range of characteristics and working in different local contexts, fare over time. It is the only long-running survey of its kind in the UK.

This is the first report from the 2022 survey. Its purpose is to lay the foundations for subsequent analysis by providing headline findings on sector structure, purpose, energy and impact in English regions and Wales.
